Estefanía has an M.F.A. in Furniture Design from the University of Rhode Island School of Design and a B.A. in Interior Design from Istmo University in Guatemala.
As the co-founder of Agnes Studio, based in Guatemala, Estefanía leads a team dedicated to reinterpreting traditional crafts, materials, and techniques in contemporary contexts. Collaborating closely with local artisans, she creates pieces that resonate with cultural heritage while embracing modern sensibilities.
Estefanía's work extends beyond furniture design to encompass functional art pieces and art. Her interdisciplinary approach allows her to infuse every project with creativity and innovation, resulting in captivating spaces and objects that tell unique stories.
